1981 Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Queens University.

1983 Law Society of British Columbia call to the Bar.

1983 – 2000 Trial lawyer for 17 years including eight years with David J. Stuart & Associates conducting major loss personal injury cases.

2002 B.C. Mediator Roster Society Member, and personal injury mediator since 1999.

1993 – 1999 Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia member.

1989 – 1990 Underwriting of the Law Society of British Columbia Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) program.

1987 – 1989 ICBC defense counsel with Lyall McKercher Hanna (merged with Russell DuMoulin, now Fasken Martineau).
